our daughter started coming here from chester township for kids therapy, and one of my biggest concerns was whether she would even engage. she tends to shut down in unfamiliar settings. somehow that didn’t happen here. i don’t know if it’s the environment or the way dr lima interacts, but she gradually became more comfortable. we also went through psychological testing, which was way more helpful than i expected because it gave us actual clarity instead of guesses. at home, we’ve noticed she communicates more instead of bottling things up, which has changed the way we handle situations as a family. it’s one of those changes that feels small day to day but big when you step back and look at it overall.

I cannot say enough incredible things about Dr. Lima and the Center of Cognitive Growth. Working with him has been genuinely life-changing for me. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, thoughtful, and deeply compassionate, and he creates a space where you feel completely understood and supported. Dr. Lima helped me make real, meaningful progress with my OCD by explaining things clearly, meeting me where I was, and giving me tools that actually work in real life. I never felt judged, rushed, or dismissed … only encouraged, empowered, and truly cared for. You can tell he is incredibly educated and passionate about what he does, and that passion translates directly into his work with patients. I am so grateful for his guidance and support, and I genuinely don’t know where I’d be without his help. If you are looking for a therapist who is insightful, supportive, and truly invested in helping you heal and grow, I cannot recommend Dr. Lima and the Center of Cognitive Growth highly enough.
