Can't find them? Add your therapist

Your Therapist ReviewMakes a difference.

Finding a therapist is mostly guesswork. Directories list credentials and specialties, but they cannot tell you whether someone actually listens, whether sessions go anywhere, or whether the fit is worth the cost. Honest therapist reviews fill that gap. A few sentences from you can save someone months of trial and error.

When you rate your therapist here, your review appears on their profile beside every other client's, so the next person gets a real picture before their first session. Positive and negative therapist reviews are both welcome. A fair account of a therapist who was not right for you is just as useful as praise, and it helps the therapist who is right for that reader stand out.

Reviewing Your TherapistCommon questions.

Do I need an account to rate my therapist?
No. You can write and publish a therapist review without signing up. Signing in with Google is optional and only matters if you want your display name on the review.
Will my therapist know who wrote the review?
Anonymous reviews never display your name, email, or account details. Keep in mind that very specific details in the text itself could still identify you, so share what you are comfortable with.
Can I review a therapist I stopped seeing?
Yes. Reviews are welcome for any therapist you have personally had sessions with, whether that was last week or several years ago.
What if my therapist is not on the site?
Use the Add a Therapist form. You need their name, city, and state. Once the listing exists you can review it straight away.
What happens after I submit a review?
It publishes right away on the therapist's profile and counts toward their overall rating. Anyone can report a review, and our team removes anything that breaks the site guidelines, such as fake, incentivized, or abusive reviews. Therapists cannot pay to remove a review.
Is this the Rate My Therapist website?
Yes. Rate My Therapist is now called Review My Therapy. It is the same site with the same therapist reviews.
