I would never recommend this therapist to anyone. Sarah constantly looks at her clock during the session, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. She did not lead the session at all - she would ask "what do you want to talk about?" I'm here for you to guide me and unpack what's going on with me. I wouldn't be coming to therapy if I knew what was important to talk about. She even said during a session, "we only have 10 minutes left, not much time. So what do you want to talk about?" ....Real welcoming and warm, Sarah. Really makes a client want to open up and trust you, NOT. I filled out an intake form prior to our first session. Before seeing her officially, I said I was looking for someone to see on a biweekly basis. During our first session, she said based on my form she thought it was best to see someone weekly but she only had biweekly availability. I asked her if that meant she didn't want to see me, but I didn't get a direct answer. I went in for a second session where she voiced that again, and again I asked if she did not want to see me. Instead of telling me to my face, she TEXTED me the next day after I've already paid her over $200 for 2 sessions to give me other referrals for different therapists. This woman is cold, comes off extremely judgmental during sessions, is not flexible or helpful with anything, and I felt that I gained absolutely nothing out of either session. DO NOT GO TO HER.
