Throughout my life time I've been to 3 different Counsellors. And I found them very helpful. Maria is the only one I have ever walked out on. She's rude & we were very unsuited in personality style. When I said I didn't think this was going to work, she agreed with me. I guess she was being honest but certainly not helpful. As soon as I arrived she asked what my personality style was, assertive, passive-agressive & one other. I said assertive bc I'm pretty direct. She seemed to feel the need to match or exceed my style. This didn't work at all. I prefer someone less aggressive, particularly in a counselling environment.
