I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lelah Villalpando at One Purpose Psychological Services. Dr. Villalpando recently administered psychological evaluations for my daughter. She was tremendously knowledgeable, understanding, kind, and caring throughout the entire process. Dr. Villalpando understood how overwhelming this was not just for my daughter, but for me as well. She made sure all testing was done it a timely fashion, prepared us with all the information I needed prior to testing and provided so much support once testing was done. During the process she was available to answer any questions I had. The report was exceptional and thorough and the suggestions and recommendations she offered were greatly appreciated! My daughter felt safe, heard, respected and understood throughout the process of the evaluations. The care Dr. Villalpando delivers is nothing less than stellar! I am so grateful for her guidance and support. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of an evaluation, especially if you have a kiddo who is in need of one. She can absolutely help you make a difference in your child’s life and help create an individualized plan that will work for your child. Her staff should also be acknowledged because they were amazing from the moment I reached out. When you call, you speak to a person…there’s no leaving messages and waiting weeks for a response. Dr. Villalpando and her staff recognize the urgency and importance in conducting evaluations quickly. After completing the entire evaluation process you leave knowing that if you need anything at anytime, she will be available to you and continue to support you and your family. I cannot recommend Dr. Lelah Villalpando at One Purpose Psychological Services enough. She is truly incredible at what she does, and from the beginning I felt I was in the best professional hands. The space she creates is compassionate, culturally competent, and safe. The assessment process was comprehensive, thoughtful, and personalized to my unique experiences. It took me 25 years to feel ready to seek a diagnosis, and I am beyond grateful that this journey led me to Dr. Villalpando. My expectations were exceeded. Receiving my autism diagnosis brought me clarity and confidence. Dr. V did an exceptional job carefully assessing me, thoughtfully writing my report, and meeting with me to thoroughly review my diagnosis, next steps, and recommendations. Every part of the process felt respectful and validating. As a therapist myself, I have seen firsthand the barriers individuals/families face when trying to access accurate and competent psychological services. Finding a knowledgeable, skilled, and culturally responsive psychologist can be difficult, however, Dr. Villalpando met every mark and more.
