Mrs. Mathew has been incredibly instrumental in my growth and overall developmental mental health. As someone who has seen a handful of therapists I've always walked away from my sessions still feeling relatively... unresolved but that would soon come to an end when I met Mrs. Mathew. She's been completely transformative of my internal landscape and has helped me drastically warp my perception of the world that I live in for the better. I remember the goal I had for myself when our sessions began was to be able to feel proud of myself and become someone who I was proud of. And from the time we began sessions to the time of me writing this review I have not only done that but that and then some. It's as much about the small wins for me as it is the big ones. Because being able to advocate for myself in ways I never had access to was of course for me an astonishing feat. But that's not everyday though. It's about the small wins like getting myself to take care of myself still in the midst of emotional hardship while simultaneously freeing myself from the guilt that often caused my inability to do so. It's having the mental fortitude and stillness required to take an extra minute on things I need to feel sure about internally where before I would rush and not consider myself before I was able to develop the mindset of the fact that I am worthy of that time and so much more. I've always felt like I was relatively aware of my issues as the type of person who's spent a considerable amount of time recalling the past but I've never known what to do about them. In short she's helped me see. Helped me tune up blind spots in my mental and emotional makeup and is a therapist I would recommend for anyone looking for that sort of thing because I am at a point where I transparently can say that for me personally it has simply changed my life.

My name is Jonathan Woods I'm a Chicago based Filmmaker & Music Producer I've known Keisha Mathew for over 20 years now. In the best of circumstances, sometimes being with the one you love the most can drive you crazy. Even the most compatible of couples can have difficulties in their relationships, but add to that the pressures of having different cultural backgrounds can create even greater pressure from family and community. Radically blended services is the perfect vehicle for Keisha to share not only her professional experience, but the wealth of her personal experience as a wife and mother of interracial children. Probably the strongest quality that Keisha possesses, which makes her an ideal coach. Is it her ability to patiently let you share your story and experiences in your own way and listen without judgment. And to let you know how you’re not alone in your uniqueness. Being a black artist who works in various multicultural spaces my community consists of many individuals from a great number of backgrounds, cultures, sexual identities, and spiritual belief systems. Most of us find a way to work together because of our desire to speak with a common voice artistically on various projects. If we didn’t have art to pull us together, I don’t know if we would be as open to spending time together in the way that we do. Most individuals don’t have this kind of creative glue to bind hearts and experiences so they need someone like Keisha to help understand each other and find commonalities which are seldom found without a catalyst like Ms. Mathew. I guess the last thing that I feel it’s important for people to know about Keisha is that just because she’s an empathetic person, listening there doesn’t mean she’s a pushover. She has a way of communicating with you to let you know when you’re not being true to yourself without making you want to clam up or punish yourself inwardly. We can all do better with a coach who’s a good mirror, and who can show us the strength we’ve had in the past, where we may have been weak and who can show us new possibilities. Keisha is just such a person.

I've have partnered with her a few times now and give her my highest recommendation. Keisha is a true partner and professional. She goes above and beyond and has great attention to detail. She draws from her personal experiences, deep knowledge, and justice lens to guide her partnerships and clients. I look forward to partnering with Keisha again in the future.

Keisha Mathew’s workshop at our "I Scream (Ice Cream) for Mental Health" event was incredibly powerful, healing, and transformative. Through a brief but impactful visualization activity, she guided us back to our childhoods, moving many in the room to tears. Every time she connects with Chrysalis Program students, parents, and attendees, the feedback is overwhelmingly positive. We are truly grateful for her presence in the mental health space.

I recently had the pleasure of partnering with Keisha on an event for Black and South Asian communities. Keisha was invited as a guest panelist to discuss anti-Blackness in the South Asian community. Although the subject matter was heavy, Keisha was deeply invested in ensuring the event was honest, impactful, and authentic. Keisha collaborated with our team on the visual presentation to provide context and language to the concepts discussed during the panel as well as resource material for our attendees. She is a genuine and luminous individual who can hold the tension of real and present oppression with relentless and unceasing hope for a better future. As a member of the South Asian community, it was truly a gift to work alongside Keisha and I look forward to the opportunity of collaborating again in the future.
